Wow!...words fail me. These are the most uninteresting...no ,the shallowest ,no...the ugliest, there are no words to describe how detestable these people are . Persians have a saying, you can take a donkey to water but you can't make it drink ,In this case you can't teach it culture. Money can't buy class and these people are living proof. This is not living the American dream ,more like the American nightmare. frankly, these freaks would actually benefit from living under the fundamentalists for a while. My eyes are still bleeding.Oh the horror ..the horror..

This is the most racist, condescending, mentally absent people I have ever seen.

It is not your typical American immigrant story and I find that refreshing. The idea that muslims and Jews can have fulfilling friendships is a great premise to put forth in a tv show to promote understanding. I think the show should have plainly explained the notions surrounding the "revolution" they speak about. There are other aspects of the show I like as well. The cast is great.

This show has hit a new low for shallowness. Kim Kardashian blushes when she watches... I thought 'Real Housewives' 'Jersey Shore', and 'Mob Wives' were a horrible representation of plastic, vapid, americans, but this is a whole new level. At least I could watch a little of those shows, but this one is just plain boring as well. I'm guessing if you live in Hollywood and enough money is thrown around, someone will produce any piece of garbage. So there you have it.

Worst "show" I've seen on television. These people are over the top annoying and are a negative representation of their culture.
  • Horrible people

I'm no prude, but there's simply no quality here. These people think that they're outstanding and the "reality" is that I believe they're some of the most uninteresting people I know of. Shallow, rude, no heart, no soul. Just trashy, nasty people. No amount of money would make them entertaining company at a party. Simply awful stuff here.
  • Great show! Invites converstation! + Reza is hilarious!

I think this show does shine light on several important aspects of Persian culture (both positives and negatives). For years, a lot has gone unsaid within the Persian community (eg. family relations, inviting open dialogue, marriage, homosexuality, etc) and this show touches on those matters with humor and lots of drama ;) I think the reason people are leaving negative comments is simply because of the fear that non-Persians will assume all Persians are like the cast of "The Shahs of Sunset", but that is NOT correct. The cast are not representatives of any sorts, and if anything, they break the stereotypical image of Iranians painted by the news/media and encourages conversation!
  • AWESOME
