Description

Big Sky Drama LONGMIRE is back with more murder, secrets and betrayals from Absaroka County, Wyoming. Season Two finds reluctant hero Sheriff Walt Longmire back in the saddle and dedicated to serving his community after coming to terms with the devastating loss of his wife. But storm clouds are brewing... Walt’s reign as Sheriff hangs in the balance as he fights for re-election against rival (and his own deputy) Branch Connally. Walt’s right hand deputy, Vic Moretti is visited by the ghost of a past she’d rather forget. Walt’s daughter Cady searches for answers about her mother’s murder, while Walt’s possible connection to the death of his wife’s killer threatens to sweep his loyal friend Henry Standing Bear into the mix. As the open skies darken and the winds kick up, Walt and his deputies plunge head first into the storm… confronting the question: how will each react when it hits?

One show I can't wait to recommend to anyone. Watch out you will become addicted. Loved season 1 but it got even better. Amazing finale!!!

I loved this show. Not many westerns made any more. This show has it all, great cast, well thought out program. Walt has the qualities of the new west Sherrifs, or some at least. I look forward to many more seasons of Longmire.

I love the books and will keep reading, but this series is so poorly paced and the subplot from last year is still unresolved. I gave it a 3 star because the books give a me a bias against the plotting in the tv series. I won't purchase any of these if there is a season 3.
  • Great Program

Just my opinion, but this is one of the best programs that has been aired in a very long time.
  • Such a Good Show

This is such a good show. It really bothers me that people aren't watching. Season one was so enjoyable and season two is even better. We need to try to keep this wonderful series going. It's so under rated. Doesn't help that it's on A&E, a network that has become a symbol of stupid reality shows.
  • Wonderful Show!

I wish there were more series like this, but that's what makes this one so special. I'd rate it right up there with Downtown Abbey, and Foyle's War.
  • Each year the series improves.

I am not much with words, so I will keep it simple. I like it!
  • Tuscan Red episode

Enjoy Longmire, but with episodes like Tuscan Red, series will start losing viewers. Pathetic attempt to kiss up to lefties in Santa Fe and Hollywood.
  • BEST NEW SHOW IN YEARS

Robert Taylor is one amazing actor!! John Wayne + Clint Eastwood + Humphrey Bogart = Sheriff Walt Longmire. This could be the best sleeper TV show since Friday Night Lights. It's great when a show pops up so unexpectedly, and is so brilliantly unique, one can only hope many seasons will be produced.
  • Almost as good as the Craig Johnson novels.

The TV drama could use a little more of Vic's acerbic and testy Philly attitude of the books. Walt's TV character doesn't quite have the novel's ironic and self-decrecating humor. Henry Standing Bear is good. More factual information regarding Indian affairs in Wyoming would be a wonderful addition.
