Description

An ancient evil has awakened from a time long forgotten. The only hope for the world is the floating island in the sky known as the Animarium – the remains of an ancient kingdom destroyed by the Orgs 3000 years ago. Living on the Animarium, giant beasts, known as Wild Zords, recruit five young heroes from the modern world and grant them the power to become Power Rangers.

  • The Best Adapted Power Rangers Series So Far!

Seriously, this is, what I feel to be one of the best PR series ever/so far. Technically produced by Disney, it closes out the 1st 10 years ever so nicely for the first Saban era & is, to channel Jeremy Jahns here,…Awesometacular, in my opinion. It follows its Sentai counterpart, Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, almost to the letter. With it’s story, mythos, & adaptation, I recommend it for casual viewers, PR fans, Sentai fans, & people looking for good TV. There’s enough for all of us here. Just watch the Zen-Aku/Merrick mini-arc (episodes 10, to about 16). It’s a bit long, but I feel it’s justified in being so. I like Merrick’s entrance as Zen-Aku, reveal as to who he is & his past, then his return to the good side, with getting his powers. Overall, I feel this series is the best of the 1st 10 seasons of the franchise. It’s got a good plot, good characters, & good action, plus the 10th season anniversary episodes ‘Forever Red.' It’s also written pretty well in its translation from the source material. I’d certainly recommend buying it & at $14, it’s a steal. Don’t know why it is, but I appreciate the seasons being so affordable. Thanks for that, iTunes. So… thanks for reading this, if you did, & I hope I’ve helped you decide on buying this, or at least some of the episodes. Highlights include: The Merrick/Zen-Aku arc (episodes 11-16), Reinforcements from the future, & Forever Red.
