Only the kids have decent skill acting. The rest of actors are an deception. I had seen the original movie and it is better than this one. I was expecting to watch a better movie because of the special effects, better acting and so on. Instead I watched a wooden acting and in some moments ridiculous scenes.

As far as remakes go I think this one was better then the original. This take jumps right into the poltergeist, I remember the first movie to take awhile. Also in the first movie I got the impression that they were benevolent spirits and then the bad came. In this version it felt like they were bad to start and got worse very quick.

There are many ways to pay homage to a classic, and Sam Raimi’s remake of Poltergeist is not one of them.

It was just like the original first one with very little changed Very unoriginal I wouldn’t have mind if the story went off into a very different direction So if you saw the first one then you do not really need to see this one

Truly the worst horror remake I’ve ever seen. Looks like zero effort went into this like the screen play was written in one weekend while drunk.

This is an awesome remake of the original poltergeist movie back in 1980’s. 5 stars!!!
