Description

The Exodus. The very word invokes an epic tale of Pharaohs and Israelites, plagues and miracles, the splitting of the sea, the drowning of an army, Moses and revelation. The story is at the very heart of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. After six years of research, working with archeologists, Egyptologists, geologists and theologians, Simcha Jacobovici came to the groundbreaking conclusion that the Exodus took place hundreds of years earlier than previously thought. With this new timetable in hand, Jacobovici and his colleagues re-examined long ignored archeological artifacts and uncovered the truth about the Exodus and the Egyptian dynasty that ruled at the time. The producers teamed up with some of the world’s most accomplished special effects designers to create a unique digital, organic experience of the Exodus. Blending archeological findings with modern eye catching effects, Jacobovici built a virtual museum to showcase his discoveries.

  • A ground breaking documentary...

If you have a chance to watch - over here in the ITunes..- the “Pattern of Evidences” documentaries on the Exodus and Moses, by Timothy Mahoney, you will understand why this 2006 documentary on the same subjects, by Simcha Jacobivici and his team, is so grind breaking and innovative. Worth watch it to start “cracking” the knee jerk mindset of the agnostic and atheistic crowd that become the new mainstream DOGMA AND CREDO destine to be discredited....
  • Fascinating conjecture

I find it interesting that a number of reviewers here are quick to criticize all this as hogwash, farce, and fake news without ever offering ANYTHING but their opinion to back up their criticism. I'm not an expert in this field. But I found the conjecture offered here to be very interesting and certainly credible. Opinions are just that...worthless unless you can back it up with some sound counter-arguments and science to back you up. In the meantime, it's worthwhile to keep an open mind and at least consider the possibilities. Otherwise, you're walking through the world like a blind person. This one is worth a watch!

Fake News to the nth degree. The first thing he says in this film is "Most of the scientists we talked to think we're nuts" so I think I'll concur. This show is chock full of special effects and lies. This is the 'Real Housewives of Duck Dynasty' of biblical research.

three stars for the production value. Must say a loyt of money spent on this. Pretty intresting tying in all the valcanic activity. BUT...what always gets me is they were lost for 40 years right. Well guesss thats how they casme up with the time to mine for gold, build their ritualistic statues..including the Ark....etc etc.....WOW RIGHT

As soon as the host said that all historical research had to be tossed out in favor of the biblical narrative I knew this was going to be a a long ride into sheer farce. When we got to his attempt to try and explain the final plague that relied on comparisons to volcanic lake eruptions of CO2 I gave up. This is iredeemably bad fiction, it is NOT history.

I love conspiracy nonsense and this is $$$ produced but it's basically 2 giant egos saying WE FOUND THE LOST ARK!

I loved watching this documentary. As someone who needs to see it to believe it, this movie really allowed me to believe in the historical facts while giving a plausible explanation for biblical events. My family makes it a yearly tradition to watch the film.
  • Trailer is so badly done-why see film?

For James Cameron to even allow a trailer that is so badly done, it makes you lose complete interest in the film. A trailer is the best parts of a film to excite you to see it. And until I did see the trailer, I was 100% sure Id see this film. But it is so poorly done, I won’t rent the film based on this horrid trailer.
