Love this movie but very disappointed, it happened with Red Heat too. No subtitles for when they spoke Russian. Now no Newcomers subtitles, are they even paying attention to the reviews. Some are a couple of years old. Fix it please.

Just got this and the alien subtitle issue is still an issue. It's a great movie. A little less great since you don't get all the dialogue. The movie is 5 star. This version of it is 3 becasue of the subtitle issue.

I loved this movie when it came out in the theater. Bought it here without reading the reviews. Can't believe they don't have the alien lines subtitled. It really needs to be fixed.

Seriously, how the hell hasn't this been corrected yet? Still a great movie though.

i have seen every alien nation (this movie, the tv series and the tv movie), all of them relate to prejudice of a species and over coming differences. would like to see iTunes show the tv movies of the tv series, that is baked on this movie. this is one of James Cane and Mandy Patinkin's best work
  • Great to see in HD but...

Missing subtitles for Newcomer/alien language parts. They were on the VHS and LaserDisc editions. Won't know what's being said during these scenes unless you're familiar with the movie.
