Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

The movie over all certainly has its' fun moments and presents an interesting concept of larger ideas behind the mythology in the series. I will admit I was frustrated by two big mistakes, falling on the heads of the editors. Number 1, revealing a big chunk of the critical moments in the trailer. Really? Number 2, a highly contrived aspect of the plot with more holes than swiss cheese.

From acting to "story" to everything, just bad

Ok so I kinda like the paranormal activity movies they are not that scary and boring at times but wow this one had me on the edge of my seat and actually scared me, a lot!!! Why it got bad reviews idk.

This was not good and not scary!

I will never understand why some people are giving this positive reviews, I really don't. The acting, chracter development, and comedy between the main characters is downright atrocious, for one thing. The plot is basically recycled from every other earlier flm in the franchise, whether they are superior or just as bad as this mess. The worst offender here is that the ghosts are actually seen, not just because the CGI is horrible, but also because it kills off all the suspense the previous movies had in not showing the demon! Trying to imagine what the demon could look like rather then actually seeing it is ten times more terrifying! Bottom line, this movie makes the fourth film look like the first movie...and that's not saying a lot.

Not worth the money. It's very predictable the whole way through. They need to stop making these! Just stop!

As a big fan of this franchise, I had high hopes for this installment. Although, I was very surprised when this film was released and it wasn't showing at any of the local theaters in my city or the surrounding cities. Now that I've seen "Ghost Dimension", I can see why the studio did not get behind this movie. This movie is basically a repeat of most of the cues used in the previous movies! We've seen this all before and it's just not scary anymore, which is a shame. "The Marked Ones" is waaaay better---and that's saying a lot!....or is it?
