Saw this in theaters and it sucked. I was so bored. I wanted to leave so bad. The only good part is when wonder women came in, that really sparked things up for a few minutes.

Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill do their very best, and Zack Snyder’s visual style is striking as always, but Chris Terrio’s screenplay destroys any any potential the exciting matchup between Superman and Batman had. Instead this film contains a stretched and boring buildup, convoluted and unnecessary teasings of future films, and a bafflingly annoying interpretation of Lex Luthor by Jesse Eisenberg. 4/10 Personal Notes: My main issue with the film lies similar to my issues with Iron Man 2. It is a film that focuses more on building its own franchise and teasing setups to its future than making a good movie. Which may satisfy the most hardcore comic book adepts, but will leave everyone else either confused or frustrated. I’m a pretty big DC fan, and I love the comics, but comics and films are two very different mediums in storytelling. In film, it is EXTREMELY difficult to cram about...five to six movies’ worth of material all into one. And that’s exactly what happens with BvS. I honestly don’t mind the different approaches on Batman and Superman, but they were not very fleshed out at all. Bruce hates Superman cause his confrontations with bad guys cause a lot of collateral damage. Clark hates Batman cause.....he beats the crap out of bad guys? Brutal, but it’s bad guys. Give Clark a better reason, Terrio. Another thing: we have not very much connection to Superman, and much less to Batman. Why are we supposed to care about them rivaling each other and potentially getting killed? This film has no good reason. It’s just “Batman be mad at Superman and Superman be mad at Batman”. The rest of the film is populated with really boring buildup and very unnecessary teases of future films in the universe. And when the big fight finally happens? Yeah, it lasts for like, five minutes. Not that we should expect it to be a half hour. But even in those five minutes, nothing really happens. One side is useless while the other whales on them, and it switches up, and it goes like that for a short time. Why not balance the two so they have to fight as equals the entire time while not making one completely worthless? Why I’m so frustrated boils down to one thing: DC was clearly rushing out material in a desperate gambit to catch up with Marvel. And it didn’t work. This story and the concepts introduced had so much potential. It could have been so powerful, and arguably one of the most important films of the century. But, nope. Just dashed by a desperate studio craving for fast money to compete with Disney. And it ruined this movie.

What’s the dream of every kid at one point or another? It’s to be a superhero! Every kid dreams of flying through building or running faster than bullets in a war against crime! This movie captures about 75 percent of that. Let me tell you what’s write and what’s write and what’s wrong. Write: Lex Luther is almost perfect. The portrayal of lex is so good because he’s like he is in the comics, a crazy billionaire bent on killing Superman. Write: Superman. Henry Cavil does and amazing job as the man of steel, playing the character as an all good and powerful alien who has concerns over his wrongs and his writes. Wrong: Reasoning. The whole plot of the film is Batman trying to kill Superman or come to terms with him. And that’s where it’s wrong. Batman goes on an almost impossible crusade to kill Superman because he saved the planet with some causalities? And yea, casualty’s are bad but like captain America said, “when your trying to save the world your not gonna save everyone. Overall. The movie is great it just gets some things wrong.
  • Underrated movie

This movie was underrated, but it wasn't better then Man of Steel and I was expecting more to come from it. I do love the cast of the movie and the heroes in it but they should've shown more set up for the Justice League, but this movie wasn't awesome or much better than Civil War. Ben Affleck is a fantastic Batman, and Henry continues to be a marvelous Superman, but the battle between Batman and Superman disappoints. Gal is a great Wonder Woman, and she steals the scene whenever she’s seen. The villains of the movie weren’t that good, Lex doesn’t act like Lex Luthor, and Doomsday looks straight up terrible. Superman’s death wasn’t that well done either, even though it’s a part of Zack’s plan for Justice League, it felt way too early to kill him off in his second appearance in the DCEU... Overall, this was a good movie but it's far from great. 6.7/10

Batman vs Superman was a waste of time but it's so confusing, dumb, stupid and poorly written superhero fight off movie it's like calling David Fincher's Fight Club the fighting movie of the century it's juxbox! Batman Vs Superman has the most overrated villians and storyline whenever a CGI creature or effect is present in the story dosen't mean the movie is perfect like if you watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail and that movie looks gorgeous everything looked real, realistic and pretty cheesy and the story made sense. But Batman Vs Superman felt like a toy commerical and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor wasn't good. Remember when Kevin Spacey was Lex Luthor he was awesome because he had a character for him to play and it came out interesting. But Jesse Eisenberg tries so hard but it came laughbly annoying. I sat there thinking should i like Batman Vs Superman? should i trust liking it or should i say i don't care anymore.
