  • Decent Espionage Flick!

This isn’t a bad movie, as many others have suggested. But it’s not one of the best espionage thrillers I’ve seen, and by no means the most memorable. Compared to novelist John le Carré’s other latest adaptations, this is probably one of the weakest. It’s not as good as A Most Wanted Man or Tinker Tailor. It is still entertaining nevertheless! I enjoy movies with Ewan McGregor or Stellan Skarsgård, so perhaps there’s some bias there. While the plot may seem far-fetched, plenty of things happen in this world that are bizarre and unexpected. Looking forward to the next adaptation! RIP J.L.C

not even worth $0.99 terrible stupid movie - poor screenplay, nauseating handheld camera work that makes you seasick and plot is so not worthy of Stellan and other cast members.

Overall, it's pretty good. Definitely worth the 99-cent rental, & I'd say the same if it were regular-price. Not the best but definitely enjoyable w/ strong acting.

Entertaining spy thriller set in a modern day context with good acting.
  • Not our kind of a movie!

Just not plausable that a University Professor and a lawyer (wife) would get involved with the Russian Mafia after they are shown pictures of a family that was murdered. The plot just didn't make any sense but I suppose for a buck, what do you expect.

Acting is quite good. Good cast of characters. Nice scenic landscapes at various locations. Tight thriller and good suspense as well as bone chilling violence.
  • Horrible. Please give me my money back

Bad plot, bad acting, bad script, bad everything. I wanted to like it but I was impossible. Spend your money elsewhere.

I thought this was a descent thriller. Yeah, it might be predictable, but it still held my attention to the end. The acting and cast were good, which I think makes the movie more palatable.
