I'm Not Ashamed is the inspiring and powerful true story of Rachel Joy Scott - the first student killed in the Columbine high school shooting in 1999. Devout teen Rachel Joy Scott (Masey McLain) shows compassion and love for her fellow students, until armed classmates enter Columbine High School on a fateful day that changes America forever. Her hopes and dreams seemed to end, but God was just getting started. Starring Masey McLain, Ben Davies, Sadie Robertson, Korie Robertson, Jaci Velasquez, and Jennifer O’Neill this hope-filled story reminds us that when we put our lives in God's hands, we can make a world of difference.

i watched this movie for the first time ever and oh my goodness gracious 🥺🥺🥺🥺 it was so incredibly powerful and so incredibly sad (WARNING: SPOILERS UP AHEAD). the part that impacted me the most as a christian was the most vital part of the movie: rachel’s death. as one of the students asked her if she believed in God and as she admitted she did, he held a gun to her head and her life was ended. but how she admitted it was so powerful. SO powerful. she wasn’t hesitant. she said yes and then she met jesus. oh boy ima make myself cry. all in all you need to watch this. fantastic movie

This movie contains so much of what youth and youth workers experience. Difficulties at home, cliques at school, guys and girls. Breakups. Sexual and alcohol temptation. Smoking. Peer pressure to look better. Suicide. Divorce. Cell groups and youth groups. Part time jobs. Imperfect teen Christians who have their ups and downs. Campus ministry. Teens who serve teens as Christ followers. Helping the needy. Forgiving others. The end of the movie I won’t mention but you might know what happened at Columbine High School. Anyway I love youth and youth work and this was one of the most “youth ministry” movies I’ve ever seen. There’s a spirit behind art (music, films, etc). This was a movie with a Christian spirit that some might like others won’t. I was really moved and am glad there are movies out there like this. I’ll keep serving youth as a Christian youth minister. .

My mom made my sisters and I watch it with her for one of Her birthdays when it first came out. I. Cried. My. Eyes. Out. My sisters and I still don’t forgive my mom for having us see it, but it is definitely one you should watch. Beautiful and be ready to cry. Grab a tissue. Hell grab all the tissues. Rob a tissue factory because you will need them

I didn't know much about Columbine or Rachel's story. But October 31st 2016 me and my family saw this movie in theaters. It was awesome! I highly recommend this to anyone 12 plus. Rachel's story is so inspiring that watching this movie will leave you amazed and speechless! I know a lot of people ask "Why wouldn't God keep this from happening?" Or, "If there is a God than why would He let bad things happen?" And to be clear, YES I do believe in God and Jesus Christ. And NO I'm NOT trying to blame, insult, judge or talk about people who do say things like that. I often wonder why God allows bad things happen even though He has the power to stop it. But I know I have to keep faith. And I know I need to trust Him because true healing begins when you trust Him as your primary Hope and Help. I don't have the answers to why He dose or doesn't let things happen, but I do believe this, "God doesn't wast anything. Not even the bad stuff." And He dose have a reason for everything. And like Romans 8:28 Says: "And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God." He can heal what hurts, fix what's broken, dry our tears, forgive our sins, take up a Cross that was meant for us, and give us eternity in paradise. That's what Jesus does for us! Please let Him do that for you. God bless whoever reads this review. I hope maybe it could help you in some way!💕✝️😊
