    I had high hopes due to Amy Adams & Tom Ford, but was disappointed in the film. Had good parts, but was disjointed & dissatisfying in the whole. Some plot threads were left unresolved. The inexperience of Tom Ford may be to blame. Would not watch again. 😐

    Really? 74% on RT? Wow! Horrible and weird. The intro to the movie says it all! One of the worst films I have ever watched! Up there with the Sherlock Holmes film with Will Ferrell. Can I give a middle finger on the review?

    Jake is very talented, love the movies he’s in. I don’t know why some didn’t understand the movie. Boy and girl are together, girl dumps boy. Finds out her husband is cheating. Reads the book, it’s disturbing to her. They are going to meet, he stands her up. Loved it!! She got what’s coming to her. The longer she sat there the more I loved it. Her hair was under her coat is what I thought. I could be wrong, I’m usually not. =^-^=

    I finally got round to watching this movie and wished that I had seen it sooner. It’s easily one of the best movies of 2017. The performances and aesthetics are perfectly suited to this movie that is simultaneously hypnotic and unbelievably tense. Nocturnal Animals is a thematically rich examination of male/female relationships disguised as gripping pulp fiction.

    I loved this movie; i love it more each time i watch it. It’s powerful in its subtleties; the storylines as symbolic and actual representations of the events lived by the characters play against each other nicely. The movie’s visuals are stunning; juxtaposition is plentiful - the dark vs light themes of his and hers, the contrast (and irony) in use of the female form between the grotesqueness of live women dancing, and beauty of dead women arranged. I loved it. It’s kept me thinking, it’s begged for discussion - I found it well worth my time and would recommend, although, it’s not for everyone. Real life rarely has happy endings, and some of our fictions should represent the art of consequence.
