As someone who had read all 3 books and was very disappointed by the 1st movie, I hesitated to watch this one. But I'm glad I did. This one is well written, well acted movie. I even cried once in the middle, something that hasn't happened to me in a long time... good job!

I loved this movie! If you read the books, you'll enjoy this movie very much! Of course, it didn't follow the book word for word, but it's pretty darn close

I thought this was just as good. Great chemistry between Anastasia And Christian and love seeing the more human side to him! Love the story and how he begins to open up about the abuse of his childhood with the love, kindness and understanding of Anastasia. Can't wait for the next movie of the 3, "FREED"
  • Better than the theater.

Darker so much better than Grey. The unrated version even better than the theatrical version. Ignore the haters. I'm amazed that if you were fond of the first movie why watch the second? This movie Darker follows the book very well.

to answer one of the critics, nope. this target audience hasn't had enough. we love the books and the movies! are they cinematic masterpieces? no, but they are very entertaining and...uhm stimulating! though it is a bit formulaic in that the "average" girll gets the rich, handsome guy, it works. fantasy, in moderation of course, is awesome, and that's what this is. and we love it!
