I don't need to care what other people say I only know what I feel when Yoshiki Plays- Alive and In love- with Life - happy to be here and happy to have lived to see this happen for him to be able to open the closet door- and empty it- thank you-

Very unique documentary,...concert was a journey through rock and classic Beethoven music,...pretty cool and sad as well.

X Japan's Story and Origin are so many and so complexed. This is the best way to let the world get to know them.

There are many Americans like me who are unfamiliar with X Japan, the metal/balad/glam Japanese band. This documentary is excellent and worth watching. The bands leader, Yoshiki is a musical genius whose looks and undeniable talent form the foundation for the band and for the documentary. On stage he can be a bit melodramatic, but his interviews ring with a remarkable honesty and sensitivity. I fully believe what Gene Simmons says: "If they spoke native English... they would have been be the biggest band in the world"! You may have trouble deciding which of Yoshiki's abilities you most respect; his drumming, his vocals or his piano. His classical work is wonderful as well!

I've been an X JAPAN fan since 2013 when I came across their song "Endless Rain" on YouTube. It was from the Last Live and I was simply so taken by everything about it. This past October I drove to LA to see this documentary and was moved to tears on several occasions. It captures the story of X JAPAN in such a beautiful and heartbreaking way that I'm left without words. I treasure X JAPAN; their lyrics and their melody and have no doubt that their music will live on forever. It really does transcend boundaries and all I can say is that I'm glad I learned about them. I am forever X. We Are~

Even though I knew nothing about this rock group I still have a curiosity about any group of musicians that were able to be so successful. I want to know how they made it to the top, how the band members loved or just tolerated each other, how the band pulled through fallen friends, the bands initial demise and how it rose from the ashes. I have only experienced a small sample of what made them so wonderful but had no idea of the depth that these musicians had achieved. As an American I believe that we miss out on many wonderful artists due to the language difference and this is was a huge problem for X Japan. This movie is the history of Rock and Roll in Japan!
