Description

When TV editor Ramsey Denison was jailed for simply reporting police brutality on the Las Vegas strip, he was inspired to investigate the Las Vegas Police Department. His investigation would lead him right up to the biggest mass shooting in American history. In this damning exposé, he reveals that the police know more than they are letting on about what really happened at the Mandalay Bay Resort, where 59 people were killed. Uncovering a long legacy of cavalier methods and dire consequences, civilian fatalities, unconstitutional arrests and embellished crime reports, this doc paints an incriminating picture of a police department where the officers are above the law.

    Great documentary
  • Misleading title - 8 minutes of this was about shooting

The title is grossly misleading as is the box cover. It is about alleged misdeeds of the Las Vegas Police Department, sad as they appear to be I bought the film as I was interested in the shooting at the Mandalay Bay casino and as I stated in my title there was about 8 minutes at the very end devoted to the shooting. By at your own risk!!

This movie had only 10 minutes of the Las Vegas shooting and even that was suspect. Don’t waste the buck-wish I could give this no stars. Also, I visited Vegas once, this documentary makes me sorry I visited a/k/a leaving LV.

I am privately investigating the Las Vegas shooting and when I saw this movie, I was startled by the way the filmmakers portray the attack. The film is mostly about police brutality and the way that the police there treat citizens. Towards the end, they talk about the night of October 1st and how local authorities have basically refuse to release any information about what exactly went down and why Stephen Paddock (the gunman) did what he did. There are questions like "Why did the hotel use a secret line instead of contacting the regular 911??" and "Why did the police keep changing the timeline??” etc. I think that this guy (Paddock) was not who they said he was or there were others involved. Anyone who is researching this horrific atrocity should see this film.

This has a few minutes of coverage of the Vegas shooting and is simply bashing their police department. Appears some of the stories are bad policing and others are heavily biased reporting. Not worth $5. I wish Itunes gave refunds!
  • RIP OFF

Wish I could rate it a Zero. Nothing to do with the description. I lived in Vegas for 9 years and the cops there are among the best in the Country. They deal with an almost impossible situation with the tourists every day and they are a credit to their profession!
  • Political agenda surrounding police error

Movie focused on “race issues” with law enforcement instead of the actual tragedy that occurred. Look up law enforcement statistics and who is doing the crimes and then see where lies the issue. This movie reflects the sad but true one sided and skewed opinion held by most in this country about law enforcement. If that’s what your looking for then watch this movie. Playing the race card is getting old move forward already and stop blaming law enforcement and look at the people committing the crimes.
  • Facts that are completely distorted.

I watch the documentary. A complete waste of money and time. Only the last 10 minutes was about the shooter and the incident. The rest of the documentary was more about a conspiracy within the local, state and federal government. In many cases of the film the facts were completely inaccurate and misleading. And most of what I had watched was many elements taken completely out of context. Their theory’s were way off base. It was even suggested that the the local authorities were arresting people who had video of the incident. To me, it almost makes me think that the producers had a personal issue with Las Vegas or worse they were like Jerry Springer desperately trying to create drama to get people to buy their documentary. The documentary was awful. They only theorized conclusions with absolutely no facts or evidence to prove their accusations. Friendly advice, don’t waste your time and money. I spent .99 cents and it was a waste of my money.
  • There is a second documentary coming all about Stephen Paddock

Producer Ramsey Denison interviewed me for an upcoming documentary that touches more on Stephen Paddock and what I know about his motive from what he said to me directly (it was revenge because he believed the casinos were cheating at video poker, especially Mandalay Bay who apparently had recently replaced high payout machines with over 100% payout if played perfectly with standard machines). The reason the shootings aren’t covered in fuller detail in this documentary is because they occurred just days before the deadline for delivering this project and there wasn’t a lot of concrete information at the time. The main emphasis was abuse by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Sheriffs in several unrelated cases, including an unwarranted attack on the producer himself. That will change with the upcoming project which will go into greater detail. My experience and knowledge also reflects that of attorney Stephen Stubbs, known in Las Vegas for defending motorcycle gangs, among others, and being a renegade. Apparently we all know Stephen Paddock set out to kill a number of people deliberately as a demented act of revenge against a system that routinely fleeces gamblers of their money. I know that other people with knowledge of the situation have said the exact same thing. The real surprise to me in the Las Vegas shootings is not that they happened, but why it took so long. MGM Resorts and their spokesperson, Debra DeShong, are doing everything they can to divert attention away from the truth. Their greed and incompetence are the driving forces that set an unstable man with great knowledge and intent of automatic firearms on the path he unfortunately took. And it happened before. The casinos had warning at least as far back as 1980 in the Harvey’s Lake Tahoe bombing such a massive loss of life directed at customers and employees was indeed possible.

Will be interesting to see the outcome of the lawsuits against the Vegas P.D... This documentary shows clear evidence of there corruption. Really hope the other sheriff candidate, that was supported by the majority of the police Dept, will eventually get his chance to make Vegas a better place.
