  • Why in the world ?!

The charm and the thought provoking beauty of the first, was completely flushed down the tubes with this insipid entry. The challenging conversations about religion, history, science that made the original film have the cult following it has , have been reduced to stupidity. If I could give it like just the tip of a star I would. Dear lord what a waste of money and my time.
  • No need for this movie

After a friend recommended the original to me, I watched it and fell in love so I was really excited to see a sequel. Unfortunately the excitement quickly faded after renting this gem and seeing it was just a low-effort, made for TV-like sequel of the original, lifeless shell of the original masterpiece. Fortunately, we were not in our right senses and were able to make the most of the evening, an evening nearly ruined from the heartbreak, disappointment and deep-rooted shame in seeing this movie.
  • Not perfect, but not bad

This movie had big shoes to fill. It misses the charm of the original, but still tells a story that manages to keep you thinking after it has ended. The film makers have been responsive to constructive criticism, and hopefuly they will have a chance to make a third film to finish the story.
  • Unsurprisingly Disappointing.

A movie that should not have been made. The original "The Man From Earth" was so good that any sequel was bound to be a disappointment.
