    I loved this movie so much, definitely worth your time to watch if you are a fan of any Monkey King or Journey to the West (Odyssey film) type movies- though more serious than the norm. Which is a good thing story wise. You really can tell how big a budget the movie has for its special effects heavy but, well polished, well acted film. Very emotionally driven while the actor playing the Monkey King did an excellent job of portraying the would be King Demon Slayer of slayers. The comedy and makeup effects are done well, & not overly done. Story is easy to follow compared to other fantasy heavy effects films so family members and kids can easily follow along. It’s adult oriented enough to not insult your intelligence and can bring you to check out other like minded films of the Monkey King sagas.
