Description

Ten years after a tragic mistake was made, Chaz's family man and covert investigator John Constantine (voiced by Matt Ryan) seeks to cure Chaz's son, Trish, of a supernatural and mysterious coma. With the help of the mysterious Nightmare Sister, the influential Queen of Angels and the cruel Aztec god Miktlantkotli, the two may be able to outwit the demon in a roll and save Trish's soul. In a world of shadows and dark magic, things are not as they seem and you always have to pay the price. The road to redemption is never easy, and if Constantine wants to succeed, he must navigate the dark streets of Los Angeles, outwit the most cunning creatures of hell and face his accustomed rival - all while fighting his own personal demons!

    Wow. Well written act voice acted. A story of how love truly being defined as giving up and sacrificing a piece one’s self for another on multiple levels.

    Haven’t watched it but I thought I’d make an obvious point to Nuenjins review.... ITS AN “R” RATED MOVIE!!! YOU IDIOT!!! OF COURSE ITS NOT A CHILDS MOVIE!!!!! “R” rated movies aren’t for children.... That much should be obvious... Why you would even think of letting a child watch a movie with the words “City of Demons” is beyond my understanding, but never give about a review for an audience it’s not meant for... That’s rude and unfair to the film maker, period. Next time look at the ratings before you decide to give a bad review for an audience that film isn’t created for.... Dumbass...

    Yes, this is a comic book movie. But that doesn’t mean it has to be fun for the kids. Constantine kills demons for a living, and you except fun for the kids?! This is an accurate representation of Constantine in the comics. Not unnecessarily gross, but an at least somewhat accurate depiction of the comics.

    I absolutely loved this movie! This is as close as your going to get to the Vertigo Hellblazer comics any with Matt Ryan voicing Constantine you can’t go wrong. I’m really happy with the run time and the R rating it’s perfect for Constantine considering this is an adult comic character not for kids or parents who think every comic book movie is for children. If you like this character and know his basic back round you’ll like this movie. If you’re interested horror and paranormal investigations you should check this out. Otherwise this might not be for you. With that said I want sequel and I bought two copies.
