It's the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled starring Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Iggy Pop, Sara Driver, RZA, Selena Gomez, Carol Kane, Austin Butler, Luka Sabbat and Tom Waits. In the sleepy small town of Centerville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behavior. No one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing the town: The Dead Don't Die – they rise from their graves and savagely attack and feast on the living – and the citizens must battle for their survival.

  • I regret renting it

With such a great cast I had high hopes. I love zombie movies. Turns out to be just a boring woke movie with anti-Trump and anti-fracking themes and more. I wish I could get my money back.
  • Saw it in the theater

I haven't seen the director's other work, but I thought with that cast, what could go wrong? Plenty. It has its moments, but you'd be better off watching Shawn of the Dead or Zombieland.
  • This zombie film isn’t for everyone.

I have to start this review by saying that I love this movie, and also state that this type of zombie movie isn’t for everyone. It’s beautifully directed with a great cast. The dry humor and lack of zombies until half in the movie may turn a lot of people off, but it made a greater movie for me. A lot of people won’t get the dry humor or even care for it but it really makes the movie very unique to watch.
  • Decent

Decent, Mild Humor not to be overly outdone, Realistic Zombie's That actually appear to be jacked up on Monster Energy Drinks. Watchable on your Fright-Night's. Thanx Bill, But we did'nt do it!

I usually don’t write reviews. Definitely the biggest waste of time. Wouldn’t recommend to any one.spend money on anything besides this please. Truly a pointless movie with no redeeming qualities
  • Ignored the reviews at first

I ignored the reviews and got this movie anyways because of who was in it and because it was 5 dollars. I watched until there was 20 minutes left thinking that some type of action or some type of comedy would happen. But I mean..... wow this movie was bad, it wasn’t funny it even interesting. I literally zoned out into deep thought mot even realizing I was supposed to be watching this movie. I don’t think I have ever thought to give anything a negative review until now. Thank god I only paid 5 dollars and I’m a little uneasy about wasting that. For the love of god don’t waste your time with this movie, even with all the great actors it’s still just a dumpster fire. There’s no “woke message” stop trying to be smart because you can see the obvious drone living humor they are getting at. It’s just bad period, people trying to down play others thinking it takes intelligence to see obvious things 😂😂😂
  • You will get it & love it like me… or hate it.

The only reason I didn’t give this movie a fifth star is because I crave more of the story laid out to us. Which I’m sure we won’t get, sadly. I found this film to be outstanding. We get a decent & reasonable zombie plot. It echos shades of creepy, messed up & scary. Then the movie pulls back a little to let you breath some comedy & that element stays in the story. Being able to amass the established talent for this genre(thank you Jim!). No zombie movie or TV series will touch it, though few have tried with some success when we lineup the A-list here. The acting was top notch & made the experience both funny & enjoyable for me. The Zombies were done right, the gun play not so much but, forgivable. The film takes you on a dark & weird ride & throws you off at the end when you want more!
  • Wow

This movie is just bad, slow not funny ending was just bad lol My review is funny compared to this movie. Waste of money and time it doesn’t even deserve a 1 star
  • Disappointing

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this film. Especially since any movie the employees Iggy Pop as a zombie immediately has my attention. Unfortunately, what resulted here is a an amazingly poor effort. A really good cast with about as much direction as real zombies would possess.
  • Horrible

Honestly, I hated every single second of this load of garbage.
