  • Interesting Cool Terminator sequel

This new Terminator which is said to be the actual continuation from Terminator 2 Judgment Day is an interesting movie and it’s got cool action and a villain that could do some pretty mind blowing things the other villains haven’t done in a Terminator movie yet lol it was great to see Arnold back to one of his most iconic most recognizable roles in his career and the same for Linda Hamilton who actually reprised her role after not being involved in a terminator movie since the 2nd one. With all that being said though I will say this......If the original creator and director of the Terminator 1 & 2 James Cameron would have actually made the effort to direct this movie I honestly without a doubt think this movie would have turned out to be way better than it actually turned out and that it would have been another amazing spectacular classic since after all...the first movie was one of a kind and then terminator 2 was also a huge classic even though it was a sequel it was somehow able to stand on its own as its own movie because of how amazing and creative James is at directing movies and this new one would have definitely followed suit in that direction in my opinion if ONLY he had gotten behind the camera and fully invested himself, effort and creative energy into this movie 🍿 🤖 after all he was the one that pushed this movie so hard to get made and being that it’s a continuation from terminator 2 the fact that James didn’t return feels like a total let down of what could’ve been but then there’s always the possibility he could direct one last one at some point in the future since he’s still directing movies but for the time being he’s fully investing his creative energy in the Avatar sequels which definitely takes away from him investing himself in directing anything else. The movie has its awesome moments but you can definitely see where it could have shined the most and where things could’ve have gone and there was a planned trilogy after this movie but ever since it came out in movie theaters that idea has apparently been completely scrapped. I give it a 5 because I love the Terminator movies and really enjoyed this one even though James Cameron chose not to direct it and I highly recommend all Terminator fans to go see this.

I really love the reviewer who said “if you don’t like this terminator, then clearly you didn’t like the first 2 either”.... lol gotta love the useful idiots the Left produces. Here’s the simple truth: T1 & T2 was feminist without making the message about feminism. Those films didn’t go out of their way to bat you over the head with “WOMAN STRONG! MEN AND WOMEN ARE EQUAL IN EVERY WAY! WOMEN CAN BE BELIEVABLE ACTION STARS JUST LIKE MEN!” Blah blah blah. Like the first 2 films are like the Alien franchise. Was the message of every “alien” film “hey look at Sigourney Weaver! She’s a WOMAN!! Don’t you love how she’s a WOMAN kicking butt!?”? No. RIPPLY was a great character because it fit the story and wasn’t forced. Just like the 1st 2 terminator films. Linda Hamilton didn’t go “hey look at me! GIRL POWER!” in T1 & T2. This new terminator feels like the sole purpose of filming it was to prove just how misogynistic men really are and that’s it. Story be dam*ed, there’s a woman kicking another woman’s butt! How satisfying!
  • $4.99 for this movie is a steal

If anyone has been a long time fan of The Terminator they will know that all of the movies are totally worth $4.99. I would literally pay $15 for just one of the movies. If they had a bundle for like $50 for all 6 movies I would totally get it. You better I’m getting this movie for $4.99
  • Flop

They were more worried about making a Girl power movie instead of making a good movie. Boring. It’s time to put an end to this already
  • so disappointing

Who wrote this script, and why do they keep remaking terminator, seriously. It's not bad bad, but it's not good. 1 and done, you'll never have the urge to rewatch this, sadly.
  • Complete copy paste garbage

What a trash movie, copy paste same story in female Version. Save your money and time and don’t watch this. Rewatch terminator 2 instead.
  • Ya did what now?

This is just another go at Genesis except with some of todays narrative injected in there. Someone somewhere got offended that the future of humanity was in the hands of a white male so John gets canceled? Slippery slope James Cameron. Want a non-white/non-male savior of humanity? Here’s an idea, take the time to create a new protagonist in a awesome new world of their own instead of canceling the story all together. With this climate, it’s only a matter of time before icons such as Marty McFly succumb to the same fate. P.S. Bringing back characters that are not essential to the plot is never a good idea. Why is Sarah still here again? Ah, because the terminator grew a heart instead of just self destructing after fulfilling its mission/purpose.
  • Actually a good action packed movie for today’s climate

Maybe people don’t like Latinos....maybe people don’t like aging actors past their prime either. This blockbuster feature took a risk and placed front and center Latino characters and not only was that not expected, it made me really appreciate the movie more. And it was endearing to see our two biggest stars from this franchise come back, being able to embrace them in a story we all love and fear. There’s lots of great action and suspense in this film and some kitschy nods to the past movies, but it’s fresh and makes a great escape from whatever may be troubling you in the real world. Definitely a nice follow-up to T1 and T2, while paying homage to the original actors in them. I don’t see how this wasn’t any bigger at the box-office when so much crap is. I also recommend watching CRAWL if you are up for some thrills.

My favorite after T2. Its amazing to see Hamilton back in action, and to see Arnold backing up a cast of powerful women

I thought overall it was pretty average but I gave it 3 stars because the action sequences are pretty cool and it does have a good terminator vibe to it unlike anything past T2. It also does not have Jai Courtney in it so that was a plus. I really didn’t like the terminator in it, not the actor but his abilities. They didn’t have to get so ridiculous with it, they could have made him a mixture of the liquid metal and endoskeleton, that would have made sense but he is just too powerful to the point where there is no chance that they should or could have beat him. Now for the girls.... I don’t get it, I’m not sexist but geez what a load of garbage, 3 female leads and none of them are interesting and If anything you don’t even like them. Sarah Connor is just blah, the essence of her is gone, the crazy hateful vengeance that drove her seems to have changed into a 9-5 job for, might as well have cast Dolly Parton. It’s worth a watch for the action and effects but much like Genesys they pretty much crap on other movies to tell the story when in reality they could have continued it in so many different ways. Disappointed.
