Daily, Heidi Holicker and Michelle Meyrink) find Randy to be grody to the max, she is caught up in a culture clash between her Valley lifestyle and her Hollywood punk hunk.

I loved the movie!!! I didn’t rent it on iTunes but it was so good. I’ll probably buy in the future. Perfect 80s movie and I didn’t even exist in the 80s. I saw this and the remake and this is still the best one.

This movie sums up living in Los Angeles in the 80’s. A great movie that is fun and completely of that time. Takes me back completely!! The fashion, music, and even valley language. A must have!!

Not enough adjectives known to Webster can describe this movie and the MUSIC, one of the best 80’s soundtracks EVER!

I highly recommend this film, it’s iconic and a time capsule of the early 1980’s. The soundtrack is classic and this is one of the earliest Nicolas Cage roles. Must have! So glad it’s finally available to own.

Not what you might expect—this is a movie that balances teen tropes with unexpected sincerity and heart. Fine acting and chemistry between Nicholas Cage and Deborah Foreman. Great early 80s soundtrack, evocative of that time. Compares favorably, I would say, with Fast Times.
  • Secord rate and boring

This film tries to be clever but it's just a sluggish, boring, predictable, uninteresting and totally uninspired mess. There were many really great teen films back then. This is a second rate wannabe. Every single role except for Randy and Tommy was miscast. Bad writing, bad direction, bad editing. It is a waste of time.
