I don’t know what’s up with all these bad reviews. Jigsaw and Insidious together killed it. I really enjoyed this movie.

  • Why the Terrible Reviews?

I actually enjoyed it. There was some nonsensical moments where the viewer had to suspend reality and logic for a moment, but come on! If you are looking for an Academy Award nominated masterpiece then you honestly should look elsewhere, but if you want an exciting horror flick then proceed :)
  • I didn’t hate it, (for what that’s worth?)

The opening 10-15 minutes have a lot of interesting ideas & the film does a good job at convincing you that whatever is about to happen isn’t going to be the most lame, unoriginal, and boring storytelling you’ve seen in years...and yet, what happens is we get some truly awful writing that makes you wonder if this writer & director actually enjoy making movies. That may sound harsh, but if/when you watch this film you’ll realize how awkwardly navigated the last 90% of the movie really is. The reason to even watch this at all is for Lynn Shaye’s competent acting skills in super low budget horror films over the last decade...so the fact that she’s basically given one scene very early and then is (spoilers!) basically written out of the movie — so that Tobin Bell can *literally* walk on the set and give the most generic & long-outworn “Jigsaw” monologue ever — almost makes you want to scream into the void; scream to the horror movie gods that you watch these movies to escape the anxieties of the real world & the last four years we’ve been subjected to all sorts of unnecessary chaos in the U.S., and in just 2 months we’ll have COMPETENT people in charge again (finally), so why, oh why!, did the coping method of watching Horror movies to escape the real world have to be spoiled with incompetent people in charge of making this movie? Basically I’m upset because Tobin Bell, the actor, and Jigsaw the character from the Saw movies, are one in the same. Bell is incapable of any acting range or depth, and seems to love giving deranged ethics lessons & “endurance tests” to anyone unfortunate to be written into one of his movies about “playing a game” or “passing a test” so that blah blah blah you know where this is going, don’t you? I guess I spoiled it, but tbh I did you favor, really.
  • Disappointing and slow

Lin Shaye has to have some regrets for attaching her name to this drivel. Slow, crap scares (if any), and poor acting by supporting cast. One of my family members was an actor in this film and they sucked too. Avoid this movie and spend the $ on something else.

I usually never write reviews, but this one deserves the worst review known to mankind. If 2020 was a movie, this would be it. Don’t waste your time or your money. Cringey and horrific in the worst possible way. I’d rather scratch out my eyes than be subjected to watching this garbage.

If the trailer doesnt give you some idea as to how bad this movie is...wait until you watch it -- its even worse -- Makes me wonder how difficult it is to get a job in Hollyweird these days --

The acting was cringy and the plot was just as bad! Wow wow wow, Hollywood has really took a dive, this is a pathetic attempt at a horror movie. This is a B movie at best, closer to a -Z movie DAMMMM I wish there were refunds! Actually I’m calling Apple right now to get my $9.99 back! This movie isn’t worth ten cents and certainly isn’t worth the time I wasted watching it!! Absolute Hollywood JUNK!! You’ve been warned!

The ending was great! Plenty of ups and downs and it didn't drag at all.

This is one of the best horror films I've seen so far in 2020.
