Description

Every six years, an ancient order of expert Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in a battle for Earth. For thousands of years, the fighters that protect Earth have won… until now. When celebrated war hero Jake Barnes (Alain Moussi) is defeated by Brax, the indomitable leader of the invaders, the future of humanity hangs in the balance. Injured and suffering from amnesia, Jake is rescued by Wylie (Nicolas Cage), Keung and his team of fellow Jiu Jitsu fighters. They must help Jake to regain his strength in order to band together and defeat Brax in an epic battle that will once again determine the fate of mankind.

    The dialogue and acting in this movie is not good. They also do a scene with the camera going in and out of first person view in a fight sequence that just didn't work well. The cgi this movie has is also bad. I was embarrassed to have shown this to my parents and had I watched it before, I wouldn't have done that. It has a good cast with decent action.

    You can’t give this garbage away... This isn’t even a movie showcasing jiujitsu. Watch Red Belt if you want to see a movie featuring jiu-jitsu. This movie is a waste of time. Save your money.

    Not a bad movie, but........Nick Cage was a poor choice. He comes off as a 2nd rate wannabe John Wick. It appears that Cage is desperate for attention as an action star. I’m not saying he’s a bad actor, but they could’ve paid someone less and gotten so much more out of that character. Cage can’t sell a movie as an action star....poor choice.

    I love most Nicolas Cage movies. Don’t judge me. This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Even the sci-fi channel would hesitate to put this on tv. From the acting to the horrible college kid working from the baseman CGI, I don’t know what was worse. The story is 80% overlong fight scenes that add up to nothing. I’m going to make a note of both the director and writer to ensure I never get caught watching something like this again.

    This is one of the worst movies I have ever watched, the actors appeared to be speaking their lines without any atttempt at making their roles believable and that is especially true of Nicholas Gage. Don't waste your money, I do not know who actually wrote these other reviews or who paid them to fabricate these glowing reviews but this movie is just plain bad.
