Wow! Does this movie “speak” a truth! I also believe each and every High School aged students should watch this movie. The truth about what “some” males will do to a female given the opportunity. Carey Mulligan’s character floored me in how she went about her “teaching” methods. But her character had to pay as well, in more ways than one. A breathtaking “revenge” movie!

Aside from the amazing casting, scrip and acting, the message is much truer than it’s not.

Great movie, you can watch this 100 times and not get sick. It’s a very sad movie overall in my opinion. I wanna watch it again.
  • Not the revenge movie I expected

It bills itself as a revenge movie but that’s not this movie. I was terribly disappointed in the end. Well acted, seemingly well directed…and it was good in a matter of speaking. I know I’m being super vague…hmm if you’ve seen Shawshank redemption…the ending is awesome…this movie is the opposite of that…ending wise for me. Don’t watch this if you don’t want to feel bad afterward…hope that helps!

This is the story of my life. Thank you for writing this. The plot, the character development and the realisticness of the whole thing is flawless. I feel validated and empowered and this movies. The subtle humor, casting every roll perfectly. Script and acting… just speechlesss. This movie is perfection and done so well and I thank everyone involved in this production. This movie is so validating and heartwarming. I needed this movie in my life.

You know a movie is bad when you watch it to the end just to confirm it’s awfulness. Bad acting, bad script, low budget, plot that goes from passingly tolerable to utterly ridiculous. Not even remotely funny and not even in the dark comedy genre. What is worse is the subject matter is a really important issue since the me too movement started but this train wreck of a movie couldn’t even pay homage to the very issues it was trying to address.

The movie promised carthases but danced around instead of zeroing in until the very end. The script raised important themes but depended on the soundtrack to actually say something. Some of the lines could have come straight out of the Kavanaugh hearings, but unlike that sorry spectacle, this movie had a somewhat supposedly satisfying ending. We can only hope that bringing the bad guys to justice won't require some innocent person's (sacrificial) death.
