Description

The Kola Superdeep Borehole is the largest Russian drilling project in the world, attempting to drill as far as possible into the Earth’s crust. After reaching depths of nearly seven miles below the surface, unexplained sounds resembling the screams and moans of numerous people were reported and the borehole was shut down. But when a small team of scientists and military personnel set out to unearth the source of the strange sounds, they end up discovering the greatest threat that humanity has ever faced.

    If you have some time on hand and do not feeling like seeing/reading the regular, this is a decent diversion. I thought the acting was better than I expected. The production was roughly what I expected. Although this reminds me of someTHING I have seen prior, they have enough of a unique take on it that it kept me interested.

    It seems as though this movie was initially released in a different language and then they voiced over it with American voice. This makes the movie really hard to watch. I would have rather watched it in its native language with subtitles. Overall the plot was okay.

    Imagine The Thing only a thousand times crappier. The acting is horrendous and will actually make you angry at times it’s so bad. ITunes should be ashamed for selling garbage like this. If I could give a negative star, I’d give an entire galaxy of them.

    The trailer made it look interesting, it was anything but interesting. Nonsensical plot with characters that are just so laughably stupid and completely unlikable it was hard to be invested. The last thirty minutes of it was just so bad I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. There are better movies deserving of your rental fee. Pass on this one!!

    It's "okay". More or less, it's trying to be "The Thing" but only has a few brief moments of genuine body horror. Most of it is just pretty meh. I didn't rent it individually, I saw it on a streaming service, which is really the way anybody should see it.
