Description

Trust, identity, and the danger of unchecked power push a covert operative to the edge in director Mark Williams' intense action thriller Blacklight. Travis Block (Neeson) lives and fights in the shadows. A freelance government "fixer," Block is a dangerous man whose assignments have included extracting agents out of deep-cover situations. When Block discovers a shadowy program called Operation Unity is striking down ordinary citizens for reasons known only to Block's boss, FBI chief Robinson (Quinn), he enlists the help of a journalist (Raver-Lampman), but his past and present collide when his daughter and granddaughter are threatened.   • Liam’s worst movie

    Started off well. Building up expectations to a climax. Problem? Never came. Built up suspense about Operation Unity, but never revealed the details. Built up to a shoot out show down. Never came. And we are just suppose to believe the head of the FBI just fesses up publicly, instead of more cover ups? Lame and lazy ending.

    So I was disappointed by a liberal Hollywood lean and lies. But outside of the politics, that would probably be the other way around, liberal (communist) government going after conservatives in this manner. (Remember they tell us what they are doing by blaming the other side for doing the very thing they are doing or would do if they had the power to do it) Sadly see is happening :( There was some good action.

    Not sure what political agenda people hating on this movie are suffering from. I can only guess. It’s a decent action film that deserves to be seen if you want something lite and chill. These types of action movies are fun normal fare for those nights you want to escape a bit from the monotony of work and day to day.

    …. This movie was a bomb. Terrible and sorry excuse of a film. Honestly, I don’t like writing reviews but this movie deserves it. Everything that the film tried to get into as far as story and themes was done with such careless fashion. Its not worth buying or renting. Even the action scenes couldn’t save this movie, neither make it interesting. This one is really bad.

    Storyline is horrible, only to be out done by the poor acting and worse scripting. There is no saving grace here. It’s a miserable way to spend 1:45 of your life
