I think the rating averages might reflect how younger contributors outweigh older reviewers because you definitely need to be at or past a certain age & point in life for this movie to land properly. The movie is obviously no blockbuster, though it’s still very enjoyable. The genuine chemistry between Clooney & Roberts is the main & best driving force moving the story forward. Guys, this one is one you won’t roll your eyes at with your woman, you’ll even get a few gut chuckles out of it yourself. Highly recommended for when you want or need to concede a movie for your female & want to not hate your time too. One of the rare pleasant few!

I really enjoyed this movie, especially Clooney and Roberts together. Their dialogue exchanges were priceless but it’s the scenes where they both reflect honestly and sadly on what ended their marriage many years ago that genuinely moved me. Yes, the story is pretty predicable but it was great being simply and wonderfully entertained instead of having some WOKE crap shoved down my throat.

I am a huge fan of Clooney and Julia Roberts but this movie was a total Sunday afternoon lifetime movie! They just had A list stars in them. That’s it. Only about 2 stars. Rest were fillers and looked like they were all on a vacation yet getting paid to do a movie!! Tired of paying ridiculous prices for just okay movies! Totally expected a lot more when paying to see A listers otherwise we can just waste time with Netflix shows.

Everyone, from the writer, to the director, to the actors, just showed up for a paycheck. No effort went into making this worthwhile. It was a waste of time and made date night with my wife boring.
  • As expected.

Beautiful scenery, appealing cast, predictable light hearted fun. Not worth buying, but renting at 5.99 offers an affordable bit of entertainment.

Wait until it’s free on Netflix. Then it’s worth watching (maybe).
  • It’s Boring… Really Boring…

Boring is right. I wanted it to stop. Worst movie that duo has ever done;(

I got exactly what I was looking for in this movie: a light-hearted entertaining movie with a little romance. Sure, aspects of the story weren’t perfect, but Julia and Clooney have enough chemistry and acting chops to pull off the entire thing, so I thoroughly enjoyed it (and the beautiful scenery). Recommend this!
