Great documentary! So many truths spoken about a reality that some predictably are swift to deny.

The video quality and camera work is nice. Every other aspect is not high quality. Very uninspiring soundtrack. The movie reminded me of high school bullying, except the victims of the bullying are adults. The bullying begins with the title of the movie calling certain women “Karen” because of their race. And the movie goes down hill from there. Not a good movie.

This is a great documentary! Very eye opening and a great starting point for white ppl who want to unlearn what they’ve been taught and work towards being anti-racist. It’s not enough to support from the sidelines. You have to actively do the work. The 1-star reviews are from ppl who want to keep the current oppressive systems of white supremacy in place. If you’re ready to grow, become a better human being and truly want to work towards a more equitable society then this is an excellent starting point.
  • Not how you deal with racism

Don’t deal with racism by bringing others down. Elevate those who are down or things will not end well in this country. Black families need present fathers and a cultural shift towards valuing education as a mainstream cultural value.

Don’t let the negative reviews fool you. This documentary films a dinner party hosted by the creators of Race2Dinner, Saira Rao and Regina Jackson. Ten white women who are WILLING PARTICIPANTS agreed to be a part of this SOCIAL EXPERIMENT which questions the racism that exists in our society, especially among white women. I put those things in capital letters because it seems that some of the reviewers are under the impression that these women were baited or somehow tricked into this discussion. The corresponding book; White Women: Everything You Already Know about Your Own Racism and How to Do Better is a national NYT bestseller and for good reason. It breaks down how we as white women have been USED by the patriarchy and white men in particular, to continue to perpetuate that we are a superior race, which causes so much heartache, blame, and confusion. Most of us ww truly do not understand how we are unconsciously (or consciously) upholding white supremacy and the patriarchy in our day-to-day living. READ the book. WATCH the documentary. Keep your mind open and your defenses down. Learn from it! This information could actually help to make our world so much better… And who doesn’t want that? (Well maybe cis white males, right wing politicians and their followers, etc) ✊🏼❤️
  • Deeply Important

This film is so important. It is purposefully aiming to make us uncomfortable to lay bare the more insidious ways that whiteness and white fragility show up all the time. Everyone should watch, and just take it in. If you’re feeling squirmy, it means the film is working.
  • This is not worth the watch for so many reasons.

Please do not watch, or if you do understand, mass conversation points remain omitted because they do not suit the presentation's narrative. There are points of view from the presenters that are neglectful of much. A better option is Dark Girls. It covers specific topics in a more valuable and meaningful way.
  • Out Of Touch With Reality

I enjoyed watching this, as racial tension is an important topic that should be discussed openly! The focus in this film was to bait white people into believing they are racist, while ignoring the origins of some of these stereotypes. Blame game, victimhood, blah blah…
