Dream Scenario

Probably one of cages best performances, very funny throughout but ending fell a bit flat for me. Would watch again.

Boring crap. Didn’t finish. Definitely NOT a “comedy.

A timeless masterpiece

Apart from the movie where he literally said no words, this is the worst NC movie I’ve seen. There is no ending, no solutions, just because. Do not waste your money. I have a feeling it will get picked up on streaming very soon.

Pretty good

I sorta, kinda, still like Cage a little bit...I mean, Moonstruck, right? But when I see trailers for, well, yet more actual pretentious, faux "creative", nonsensical, unrelatable, inhumane (I could go on), complete drivel like this? UMMMM???................................................

I cannot believe the ratings for this movie are so high? Is this what we have come to? So uninteresting and a waste of talent. There was so much more potential but it was just a low budget indie movie with a unintelligent story line.

Is this the fourth Nicolas Cage film I’ve seen in 2023? Retirement Plan, Renfield, Butchers Crossing and now - Dream Scenario. I’m a fan, and like some great charismatic actors Nicolas Cage raises the real estate on ANY film he appears in. If it’s mediocre, Mr Cage can make it good, if it’s good, Cage can make it great… On a lesser note, Vincent Price comes to mind as an actor who inhibits this talent and ability… Mr Cage's portrayal of a clumsy, balding, easy to ignore Professor is wonderful and the premise quirky and fascinating. Sometimes Cage’s character (Paul Williams) is so pathetic I was squirming in my seat. I might suggest this film is about the injustice and helplessness of culture cancelling with a healthy dose of commercialization run amok.I did find the final act of this film somewhat grafted on a bit. It was an unexpected left turn that seemed like one of ten options the writer considered. Still, I thought Dream Scenario was top-notch and this film haunted me afterwards. Kudos to Cage!
