Description

Kinsey is a portrait of researcher Alfred Kinsey, driven to uncover the most private secrets of a nation. What begins for Kinsey as a scientific endeavor soon takes on an intensely personal relevance, ultimately becoming an unexpected journey into the mystery of human behavior. Liam Neeson stars as Kinsey, who in 1948 irrevocably changed American culture with his book Sexual Behavior in the Human Male. Interviewing thousands of people about the most intimate aspects of their lives, Kinsey lifted the weight of secrecy and shame from a society in which sexual practices were mostly hidden. His work sparked one of the most intense cultural debates of the past century, a debate that rages on today. Using the technique of his own famous sex interviews, Kinsey recounts the scientist’s extraordinary journey from obscurity to global fame.

The film was an interesting depiction of Dr. Alfred Kinsey. Particular attention to detail was nice.

An interesting dramatization of Dr. Kinsey's life and most famous work. Not for the sexually-embarrassed for uncomfortable, while it shows no truly graphic sexual material it does bring up very controversial (both ethically and morally) subject matter in one of its later scenes that will make anyone cringe if not cry.

I enjoyed this movie very much. Dr Kinsey takes us to the ups and downs of the reality of the research world. A Harvard proffesor researching about the human sexual behavior. This movie touches the reality of the sexuality. I loved Laura's role, I think she ( his wife in the movie) was fantastic. Sometimes the movie gets a little slow, but I could not took my eyes off from the screen until the end.
  • The movie of sexual understanding.

At first you see this movie and think, "okay, how stupid", but it will really opens your eyes"in a private way" to understanding yourself and the sexual world around us. They should show this to 9th graders, they would be alot less confused for the rest of their lives.
