This is easily one of the greatest DC Stories. Darwyn Cookes love letter to the Silver Age of DC Comics is one of the most fun, adventurous, and beautiful comic book movies ever produced. The brilliant tribute to the art style of the original book, the outstanding musical themes, and the top notch voice work make this movie one to revisit over and over again.

Pure Darwin Cooke joy. My favorite DC animated movie. It's different and stays as true as possible to the limited series.

The 50's gave us so much... Still it's 2015 and I still love this movie. The art is fantastic and the characters are put through hell and an apocalypses on there hands, overall the movie has realism... Ok some realism and that's what I want in a superhero movie. This is your best choice in the line of comic book adaptations and it's at number 3 of my top 10. Buy this movie, sure you can rent it, but I loved this so much I bought it. 10/10 #IMBATMAN!!!

Good movie but was not what I was expecting. I thought the whole team on the picture was actually gonna be in it battling in the final battle. But still a really great movie. I loved how the first appearance batman suit was in this. One of my favorite suits!

I said in my review of "Superman: Doomsday" that there are times when sticking too close to the original story can ruin the movie. This movie is an entirely different case. It loosely sticks close to the graphic novel by Darwyn Cooke, which isn't bad in this case. But I feel like this is one of these movies that should be split into two parts. It has material from the comic, but it feels too rushed. For example, I agree with Darwyn Cooke about this. Faraday was one of my favorite characters in the comic, but his introduction doesn't feel right. They just say he works for the government, and that's it. The other problem I have with movie is that they mention the villain too many times. The comic had a more subtle approach with him; there was little mentioned about him and that's what made it good. Here it feels too forced. I know Dwayne McDuffie liked a threat only the Justice League can defeat, but they could have mentioned him two or three times. But despite the movie's flaws, there are some things I like about it. The score is perfect. My favorite track is when they march into battle. The voice acting isn't bad, either. Jeremy Sisto is like the original Batman by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Neil Patrick Harris as the Flash is good, because he has that friendly voice. Even though they couldn't get the entire "New Frontier" speech (which is understandable), it really makes a good ending. So I just think it's on the border of okay.

This movie was great. I loved every minute of it, with the exception of the voice for batman. Very good movie though.

A great film with great actors and actresses. This film is a great becuase it shows that DC is greater than marvel by throughing their imaginations out into the open and melding it into a awesome film with great action and drama with boat loads of fighting and supermans possible down fall. It is a great movie all over!!!!!

The animation is great, excellent story and pace, character development, dialouge. An evil villian. Heart-wrenching heroics and sad parts. I am a Marvel comics fan and know little to nothing about DC. This movie stands on its own as a story and film.
