Description

Ryan (Troy Gentile), Wade (Nate Hartley) and Emmit (David Dorfman) attend their first day at high school and they’re pumped…until they meet up with Filkins (Alex Frost), a school bully who comes off like a little Hannibal Lecter. Before they become completely engulfed in Filkins’ reign of terror, they seek out some protection by placing an ad in Soldier of Fortune magazine. Their best response – and the cheapest – comes from Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson), a down-on-his luck soldier of fortune who lives a homeless – he likes to say “home-free” – existence on the beach. He enrolls them in some physical and mental training.

    This was cute. Watched it last night. Think if the " kids"in the movie were better actors this would have been a much better flick. That and a little more depth. Even in comedy you need some depth 🙄

    I'm just upset that so many funny parts were taken out. The meditating the blinding for the silver platter. Or is that part of an extended cut?

    Most comedy movies that arent great i usually enjoy and can watch more than once but this I had trouble sitting through once it was just awful, there was i think 2 good parts that you can just watch the trailer if you want but besides that owen wilson gives his normal irritating unfunny performence which was put along with a very cliche highschool story that they try to pass with the typical funny fat one, but the kid just says things that have either been used or just arent funny.
