Description

Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan are two thieves who haven't got a prayer in First Sunday, a sinfully, funny comedy co-starring Katt Williams and Chi McBride. Sentenced to 5,000 hours of community service, Durell Jefferson's (Cube) life quickly goes from bad to worse. Realizing that the Lord helps those who help themselves, he eventually decides to help himself to the neighborhood church's building fund. Accompanied by his dimwitted partner-in-crime LeeJohn (Morgan), the two down-on-their-luck men are dismayed to discover the cash has already been stolen, so they hold the congregation hostage in a Hail Mary attempt to learn who amongst the righteous has already run away with their loot! Also starring Tiffany New York Pollard, Rickey Smiley, Loretta Devine and Malinda Williams.

    The four "top critics" at Rotten Tomatoes have their heads up their behinds. Unless a film with black folks in it has them cussin', killing each other, dealing drugs, living in jail, or getting beaten on a plantation, a lot of critics from the "mainstream community" just can't stand it. As for me, I laughed my butt off. The movie was hilarious. It WAS inspirational, hip and pretty much family-oriented without being corny, and featured a very funny and talented all-star Black cast. (Yes, Virginia, there is a world beyond Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston.) Two thumbs up to Katt Williams and Tracy Morgan. Say Amen, somebody!

    OMG! this movie is epic. it's HILARIOUS. l've watched it like a 25362995653178949 times, & it never gets old. I can quote almost the whole movie! I seriously think this is a great movie, it's not bad humor like most movies now-a-days. my younger brothers loveeeeeeeeeeee it. if you havnt watched it, I'm sure you'll love it to :)

    Hey Yo, This movie kept me laughing when I least expected it. They threw in a little bit of everything and kept the movie flowing with a good pulse.......But sadly, I still need 5 more dollars to put it on my iPod.
