Description

Hugh Grant (Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary) is simply brilliant in this comedy hit the critics are hailing as "Hilarious!" (Premiere). Will Lightman (Grant) is a good-looking, smooth-talking bachelor whose primary goal in life is avoiding any kind of responsibility. But when he invents an imaginary son in order to meet attractive single moms, Will gets a hilarious lesson about life from a bright, but hopelessly geeky 12-year-old named Marcus. Now, as Will struggles to teach Marcus the art of being cool, Marcus teaches Will that you're never too old to grow up. About A Boy is the irresistible comedy smash that Time Magazine says is "smart, funny and winsome."

I don't know of any other movie like this. I rarely re-watch movies, but I need to see this one every once in a while. I think it's because I relate so much (for good and bad) to the Will character.

This is one of the best films ever. It is simple yet very dynamic and funny. it is heartwarming while also sad at times. A great balance between mainstream and independent films. overall GREAT.

This is pretty much my favorite movie. It is so well written and there is a really good sarcastic joke almost every 2 minutes. It is a great story, and perfectly acted out by Grant and the little boy and his mom too!. I can't get enough of it. It has just the right amount of humor and a little romance. One of the best movies personally.

I loved this movie! I have seen many movies and this is in my top ten. My favorite Hugh Grant movie too! For all those people who hate the kid because he's weird, he's suppose to be that way, and he plays the part flawlessly. This is one of the greatest films I have seen in my whole 13 years.

I'm sorry. This is terrible. I don't understand why kids like that can get into movies. I'm sure the number of movies I have seen in my life has four digits. This is the worst of all of them. The kid in this was TERRIBLE at acting and singing. His singing made me laugh so hard I peed. And then I laughed at that. Really a bad movie.

The only good part in the whole movie is when the kid comes out in his rainbow sweater!
