    This is such a classic; my only concern is where are the Special Features and iTunes Extras for people to watch? This is really annoying when the Special Features appear in the Home Video releases of movies but not on iTunes.

    The first movie to ever win 11 Oscars and the most heart warming/ religious movie beyond anything else. 1959, although the technology wasn't as advance as when the Passion of the Christ was released, it still cannot compare such an incredible film. Ben-Hur all the way. Quick tip though; nearly 4 hours so make sure you have plenty of snacks and tissues.

    Ben-Hur is without question, the greatest product ever to come out of Hollywood. Ever since I first saw it, at the age of 10, I have been smitten by its grandeur. I watched it again the other night and like the too many too count times I have watched it before, was mesmerized. In particular, what in cinema can match the raw emotions I feel when BH first encounters Jesus? It is hard to describe the impact of that scene. Truly inspirational. And the acting! Charlton Heston is just unforgettable. Wow.

    I have loved this movie since I saw it in its first run. But this iTunes version is not from the most recent video incarnations of the movie. The print is not a good one. The soundtrack is Stereo -- rather than AC3 5.1 Channel (and with the GREAT score for this movie, that's a big deal). Apple needs to simply update this title. There were all kinds of better versions -- and those were before Blu-Ray. This may have been the only master available to Apple when they secured the license, but I'm sure cleaner prints with sound to match are now available. Please Apple….

    I just wish it would let me buy it. It only gives me the option to rent. I would totally buy it if it would let me, because it is a classic movie and no matter how many times you see it-it always gives me something else to look at.
