The film that launched successful careers for Kevin Bacon, Ellen Barkin, Paul Reiser, Mickey Rourke and more! It's a lively, poignant tale of friends trying to recapture their lost innocence in 1959 Baltimore.

I love this film. It reflected my life with my friends in and after high school. We quoted it. It is a wonderful film on multiple levels, and has stood up incredible well on multiple viewing at different stages of maturity.
The soundtrack introduced me to many artists and still gets played.

I saw this movie years ago and forgot how good it really was. I rented this movie and I wish itunes gave you the option to buy it after you have rented it so that you don't have to pay a rental charge and the full price to buy it.

One of the best buddy films ever made. It launched the careers of Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon and others. Its a well written little movie that didnt have alot of commercial success when it opened, but much critical acclaim. If you love witty dialog, interesting developed characters, and 50's rock and roll..you will LOVE Diner!
