Academy Award-nominee and Golden Globe-winner Edward Norton (The Incredible Hulk, American History) and Colin Farrell (Miami Vice, Alexander) star in this crime thriller that blurs the line between morality and duty as it asks the question: What does it mean to be loyal? In New York City, a homicide detective is assigned to investigate the precinct run by his own brother, Francis (Noah Emmerich - Little Children, Cellular).     @ Irish lad your right !!! This is a great movie!! The bad reviews are probably written from people who are not cops. This movie shows the dark side of law enforcement. Unfortunately there are bad cops out there as well as good. The title says it all,"Pride and Glory". This is movie is not all sunshine and rainbows nor is it a family movie. This movie does portray a realistic side of law enforcement that does exist.

  • Do not watch this movie if you have feelings.

    A dark and depressing crime drama that is not very humbling, and as more F-words then you can shake a stick at. Do not watch this movie if you have feelings. Two stars.

    movie was not very good....bad acting, forced dialogue, well beneath Ed Norton's normal delivery. Very generic story but very choppy.....you dont figure out who is all related in this movie and their role until the end...by then it was too late...

    This movie had a potential to be a great movie, however, it was a colossal debacle. You would think with a cast like this you can't go wrong, but it shows how much of a films strength depends on the writing/directing. The movie just seems to come apart in the latter part of the film with no exciting climax. It's like you waiting for something that never comes. I probably could have done a better ending to the film. Second part of the film was just unimaginative. Don't waste your time. You'll feel like you got ripped off... and more importantly like you wasted your time.

    It was a good movie and kept my interest through-out the length of the movie, just they left it open at the end so if they were trying to leave it so they could make a sequel then its ok but if they werent than the very end could of been better but overall it was a very good movie. Buy it.

    this is probably a movie that you would expect to know everything. Guess again. its top notch and very entertaining filled with reat acting throughout.
