Description

Two of Europe's most virile male stars, Michel Serrault and Ugo Tognazzi, portray two very flamboyant, aging gay gentlemen. Togazzi is the owner of a St. Tropez nightclub where the chief attraction is a drag act performed by his lover, Serrault. Tognazzi has a son from a former marriage who is engaged to the daughter of a politician who is a very active vigilant member of the Union of Moral Order. The son has carefully hidden his father's true profession. But now the upright -and uptight- politician and his wife are coming for a social visit, and the future of Tognazzi's son's marriage is at stake. Tognazzi and Serrault desperately try to "butch up" their home and manners for the ensuing visit. The hilarious complications of the evening are (not quite) beyond belief...

    UPDATE: Since that message years and years ago, there has not been a peep from APPLE iTUNES... I will continue to rely of NETFLIX, AMAZON, HULU and the rest for my entertainment. Shame on you APPLE iTUNES!! The movie is worth 5 STARS and I would've given it 5 stars had it been in the original language (French), which was the reason I bought it. Apple is a global company and should allow its users to be able to purchase any version available, regardless of which country store it's from. Unfortunately, I didn't read the description properly, which included English and Spanish (!!?). Unless I get it in French it's coming off my iPad and a French version will replace it. Apple/MGM, let me know if you have any suggestions. Thx!

    You have to see this in FRENCH. It is sooooooo much funnier!!!! I am so dissapointed that it is dubbed in English. My fault for not reading the entire description. I just assumed a french movie would be in french...sigh...

  • No French Audio - HUGELY disappointing

    I'm shocked and very disappointed that the movie does not come with the original French audio. Why iTunes offers an English dub AND a Spanish Dub but not the original French makes this purchase completely worthless. This is a French Classic, and removing the original actor's voices and inflexions, which make this movie so brilliant, is a huge mistake. I regret having made this purchase and would never buy it again until the French audio is included.

    This is a brilliantly funny movie, but Itunes does not have the french language version available. I got burned by this and their service made it right, but I'd still love to own this in the original french.

    I didn't understand a single word being said, yet I laughed non-stop! One of the funniest movies I've ever seen! It took me 3 days to convince my wife I didn't speak or understand french!
