Description

It's vacation time for Det. James Carter (Chris Tucker "Jackie Brown," "The Fifth Element") and he finds himself alongside Det. Lee (Jackie Chan "The Forbidden Kingdom," "Shanghai Noon") in Hong Kong wishing for more excitement. While Carter wants to party and meet the ladies, Lee is out to track down a Triad gang lord who may be responsible for killing two men at the American Embassy. Things get complicated as the pair stumble onto a counterfeiting plot by L.A. crime boss Steven Reign (Alan King "Casino," "Second Final Warning") and Triad Ricky Tan (Golden Globe nominee John Lone "The Last Emperor," "Year of the Dragon"), an ex-cop who played a mysterious part in the death of Det. Lee's father. Throw in a power struggle between Tan and the gorgeous but dangerous Hu Li (Golden Globe nominee Ziyi Zhang "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "Hero") and the boys are soon up to their necks in fist fights and life threatening situations.

    Sexist and even a bit racist with none of the charm of the original. The first Rush Hour is no classic but with Jackie doing al of the stunt coordination and Tucker’s improvisation of the best lines, little was left up to director Ratner to screw up. It was fairly low budget with a fast pace and few slow spots. Each sequel got longer, more ridiculous and more self indulgent. This one starts right off the dumb and a little bit offensive and just gets boring from there. Jackie Chan was reportedly not a big fan of the films but understood they were popular and his incredible physical abilities and dedication to his craft shines through as always. Jackie’s work earned the film a second star.

    Come on iTunes, there is a huge number of amazing movies like this one. Please add spanish subtitles, this one, the Green Mile among others need spanish subtitles!!!

    This movie will go down in history as a classic. Its amazing as far as sequels go and the chemistry between Jackie and Chris are incredible. Btw..... Ziyi Zhang is absolutely gorgeous!. This was her first debut in America and her career has exploded ever since.

    These 2 guys are awesome together, I can watch these over and over again. I can't believe I've seen some people not like these. The story lines are great, the chemistry is awesome, and it make you laugh, exactly what more people need to do nowadays. If you don't laugh at these movies seek therapy, fast, " my brothers from another mother".
