When I first bought this movie, I was pretty sure it was going to be another gushy documentary on how great Elvis was. This documentary shows Elvis in all of his glory, as well as some not as bright times in his life. The actors are wonderful, the music is terrific, and the movie brings out tons of emotions. How they did the "My Way" montage made me cry. Great documentary about the King. Viva Elvis.

I've been an Elvis fan since I was 5 year old and this has always been my favourite documentary. it uses real footage with some re created scenes and a voice over. it has great footage of his best performances and a great ending especially how they edited the My Way performance. I watch this at least once a year and I recommend to any casual or hardcore Elvis fan.
