Description

When FBI agents Elizabeth Anderson (Julia Ormond) and Sam Hallaway (Bill Pullman) arrive at a local police station to investigate a series of gruesome murders, there are three witnesses with three different stories of the roadside rampage. As the agents begin to expose the fragile little details each witness conceals so carefully with a well-practiced lie, they soon discover that uncovering ‘the truth’ can come at a very big cost.

Thorough nonsensical portrayal of law enforcement.....

Overall a worthwhile rental. It moves a bit slow but the twists and turns, especially at the end make it a good way to spend a couple of dollars and hours.
  • Substandard would be a better name for this film

A horrible movie. Gory, profane, and a very predictable twist to the ending. It seems that the director knew the ending stunk, so then she threw in a "watch the killers become sexually aroused by the killing" segment to close out the last 8 minutes. Please don't waste your time.

Did anyone else find this movie incredibly disturbing, bloody, unique, but amazingly intelligent at the same time, lol?? I had an interest in this movie ever since I saw the trailer for it and Iv seen it twice now and it really doesnt get old!! it starts off kind of slow, but it gets more interesting and the ending is sooo insane, u don't expect it at all!! I really liked how the little girl practically solved the case on her own lol, definitely try this movie!!!

Please do not waste your time. Completely predictable ending. Filled with unnecessary profanity. Pretends to be intelligent but falls way short. All in all, definitely one of the worst movies ever.

Oh my goodness. This movie was absolutley terrifying, and creepy, and messed up, and violent, and bloody, and disturbing, and I liked it A LOT! It kept its pace, was always interesting, and the acting was good enough that it didn't seem violent just for the sake of being violent, and creepy just for the sake of being creepy, and so on and so forth. The director is David Lynch's daughter, and he's named Executive Producer of the film, which seemed a little weird to me, but it was still a great movie. See it now!
