Description

In "Clash of the Titans," the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds, leading a daring band of warriors, including Draco (Mads Mikkelsen), an experienced soldier who encourages the defiant Perseus to make use of his god-given abilities. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, they will only survive if Perseus can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

The special effects are great and all, but isn't anyone getting tired of the smae old Hollywood BS? I am.

I think this movie is highly underrated. I'm not an expert on the mythology, but as a movie, it was pretty good.
  • Disappointing Cinematography

When the Steadi-cam is bouncing, vibrating, and zooming like a high school prom video from a smart phone, it's hard to enjoy the movie! Don't know where they found the cinematographer, nay camera operator, but it was just plain poor! The editing wasn't much better. So…2 stars! Now, the sequel, The Wrath… is a 5-star movie with great cinematography and a vastly improved casting director and the relevant upgrade of actors and actresses. So you do have to sit through this debacle to get to the far superior sequel!
  • This "masterpiece" is a piece of horror...

Besides this movie has nothing to do with Greek Mythology, the script and directing are insanely horrible too. I don't won't to go deep in this ... I wish I could really name this piece of ... I just have a question for directors about Pegasus? Why the flying horse is dark? Anyway, there are some good things about this movie though, there are 2 beauties Alexa Davalos and Gemma Arterton made this "masterpiece" one time viewable....

Some funny parts, some action scenes, and some interesting characters, therefore, an entertaining rental. Not a great movie for the archives but a good entertainment movie for an evening.

The movie was non stop excitement plus u actually felt feelings for the trials of everyone from Zeus to the king of hades. The plot was understandable not like Hercules in Herc the jerk 2.!!!.

  • The critics are overly critical

This remake of the 1981 classic is not as bad as many of the critics have made it out to be. And the original is not as good, either. Nostalgia can be blinding sometimes.
