Description

THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE narrates the true story of two brothers who embark on a remarkable quest to find meaning—and light—in a seemingly dark world. They begin their journey with the homeless on the streets of New York City, and continue on to spend time with orphaned children in Peru and the enigmatic lepers of Ghana. Their epic voyage across continents—and through tremendous suffering, hope, love, and forgiveness—awakens them to the beauty and resilience of the human spirit.

This documentary brings one back from the idealistic and materialistic bubble we sometimes live in. It reminds us how well off and how blessed we are, BUT most importantly, it reminds us how cruel the human race can be to one another! Watch it!!! You won't regret it !!!

This was an awesome exercise in getting to know who you are and what life is really about. It is so great that the main person in the film was only 20. It was such a real account one mans seeking for himself. I loved it!

I loved this movie and actually my History teacher showed to us. I thought it was really good. Its one of my favorite movies and it shows how we should all act towards one another. P.S. Jeffery is my favorite character :)

Like what the other reviews say it's more like a journal of two people I like the message but to me it's seems like a cliche I diddnt find any chemistry with it it has something missing about but this is just my opinion about the movie

SO the trailer was well done. but is one of the most boring movies I have seen in a long time. Really trying to show the life of other people. yeah anyone can do it for a week. You show the life of the homeless in NYC but that did not help them at all. I would like to see the real contribution of this movie to all the subjects they "study". Bad cinematography it look like i was watching a 90s bad documentary. I would like a refund.

The film had a lot of potential but only potential. It doesn't go deep enough to be insightful or truly moving or even very interesting. There's a good amount of rambling and the film fails to really convey the human experience, both the experience of the boys and of the people they interview.
  • not worth $3.99, that's for sure !!!.

Information was general not substantial, Had they done more research this film potentially would have flourished. I've seen better documentaries for example "Which Way Home" where the research is indicative made it great. Going back to the Human Experience, I couldn't help saying to myself "the older brother had nothing original to say," he pretty much said what he already heard from others. I won't recommend this movie, and not worth renting at that price. Watch another documentary...
  • Cliche but worth it

While sometimes being cliche....this movie nevertheless made me experience a whole host of emotions. I went through stages of asking myself, "why am i here?". "what is my purpose in life?" "why does helping people matter?". In the end, I came out feeling better.
