I know its Science Fiction, but the question remains, how did an endangered species take over the planet?

Hi I'm Joey Campese, and I'd like to say, 20th CenturyFox really did a swell job of making a cool action-packed thriller!

Now, continuing from the previous Apes films this one was set twenty years later. I remember those days in the 90's....WCW was at it's awesome height, Beavis and Butthead were on MTV, the N64 system was as big as they got, Bill Clinton was in office, Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich just got done ruining Godzilla's reputation with their film, the fear of the Y2K bug was about, all the major TV networks came into existence, Khan Noonien Singh started the Eugenics Wars, the Kilaaks unleased all the monsters from Monster Island onto the world, and Caesar led a rebellion with the apes. Ah, those were the times. Alot of things happened in the 90's.......[record scratches....WAIT A MINUTE! Some of these events are not right here.]. With all kidding aside, this movie was a great sequel to the previous film.....but still it was pretty pointless. It was good to see Ricardo Montalban in this film before Wrath of Khan was made. This movie is the inspiration of the current Rise of the Planet of the Apes. But there are somethings different. In this version, Caesar was a result of being born by parents from the future [thereby causing a time parodox], led these unintelligent apes to cause a revolution [that's the only problem I have with this film...how are unintelligent apes capable of handling welding torches and blades without hurting themselves?], and was done using practical effects. In the upcoming film version, Caesar was really just an ape with enhanced intelligence because of a human experiment, is a prequel to the crappy remake, and is done using CGI rather than the traditional effects. Overall, check this film out before seeing Rise of the Planet of the Apes in case you want to have discussions with your friends about the film.
