Description

Chris Parker (Elisabeth Shue) agrees to baby-sit after her "dream" date stands her up. Expecting a dull evening, Chris settles down with three kids for a night of TV ... and boredom. But when her frantic friend Brenda calls and pleads to be rescued from the bus station in downtown Chicago, the evening soon explodes into an endless whirl of hair-raising adventures! Babysitter and kids leave their safe suburban surroundings and head for the heart of the big city, never imagining how terrifyingly funny their expedition will become!

  • Great but not for children

    It sounds like a Disney movie but BE WARNED, it isn't. ONly those 14 and up should watch it. It is full of innuendo and language, plus several suggestive situations, one involving a playboy magazine featured heavily throughout the movie, and one involving a drunk teen at a frat party. Be warned.

    This is a classic chick flick, and I love watching it with my friends. Although I did not grow up in the 80's, I really like it and everyone I show it to loves it! I rented it because I have it at home and I would start by renting it(it is an older movie, so see if you like it first). I recommend buying it if you know you like it or this type of movie, though!

    Honestly I loved this movie and wish they would have made a second one with all the same actors, they have another one but its just not the same ,not really inappropriate the bad scenes aren't like super bad,very funny movie

    I love 80s movies and this movie along with plenty of other 80s movies, is great. Wish they could make movies this fun again

    Fun movie and fun to see a few stars before they actually were stars and a easy going enjoyable time. While not on par with any of the Hughes movies or a few others, definitely worth a few watches!

    When I was little my aunt would play this movie for me cause she knew I loved it and I believe 4 or 5 years ago she bought the movie and showed it to me I was happy a lot cause I love this movie so much! I recommend you buy this move well worth $15(':
