Dear People, There is no such language as ‘Chinese’. The language spoken in this movie is Mandarin. Take a moment and tag your movies appropriately. Thanks - from the 1B+ Chinese people.

I cannot understate just how good this movie is. Poetic, visually stunning, amazing fight scenes, beautiful kung fu choreography, and emotional. The overall story is so deep and well thought out. I am so impressed with it and I also think the purchase price is such a value that I want to buy it. I don't think having to read subtitles is a valid reason to rate a movie poorly. I love watching movies in their native tongue. Jackie Chan did such a good job in this. Everyone did a good job in this. I sincerely believe that this movie is just too good for American movie watchers to appreciate. This is an incomparable masterpiece.

While the fight scenes are awesome in this movie, it's really the plot that drives it forward. The main character in this movie is just so great. It's unbelievable. This movie is sad, but it still is symbolic enough to make you rethink what just happened. At least it did that for me. I got really into this movie, and thought about the meaning a lot. Hopefully that will happen to you too(the reader). Also this movie is supposedly a remake of Jet Li's "The Shaolin Temple." I saw "The Shaolin Temple," and it's good, but it's not nearly as good as this film. I don't know how it's even a remake. The plot points are so different, and they only have a few similarities. This movie clearly had the stronger characters, and plot than the original(even though it's hardly a remake at all).

I hesitantly rented this movie, since I didn't see it more on the main stream of movies, but admittedly was extremely impressed. There is great character development, action, plot structure, and ending. The graphics were good and the acting was good. Actually, the only really bad acting was from the European soldiers. If you're not sure whether to rent this movie or not, GET IT.
