The Ides of March

Good movie. Smart. Tight. Well directed by Clooney. Good cast. One of the better political drama films.

A little slow at times, and boring. It had the occasionl Republican insult, but that is what one should expect from Hollywood now days.

If you're a fan of the genre - this is a good one. Reminded me of the show Battleground, which is also recommended :)

Best movie of the year!

I can honestly say I'd pay to watch the trailer, but the movie itself is not worth watching. It was horrid. Honestly I've watched it multiple times just to see if I'm missing something, because clearly I don't get out of this movie what everyone else is. George Clooney has done better. Ryan Gosling was emotionless & stonewalled for most of it. The explicit language was unnecessary and repetitive. Evan Rachel Wood's role was depressing and regrettable. I honestly can't think of anything I enjoyed in this movie, except the trailer.

I found this movie not only very captivating, but it also gave me an interesting" inside look" into the cruel and sometimes terrible "arena" of politics. I thought the acting was very well done, but my only con was that there was too much language.

Dark characters. Decent film. Worth renting.

worth to watch

Great acting and writing, except for all the cussing which was distracting for me, and engaging story. It ended way too soon though. Still worth watching.
