I have had this movie for awhile. I watch it just like I watch all my other Kristin Stewart movies and find it to be a good portrayal of acting. Although I wish she would have acted in another one to this franchise. But I will still continue to watch it.

I read several reviews prior to purchasing this movie... many were extremely critical of the movie, especially the lead actress (who has been given especially critical reviews....). I decided to watch the movie with an open mind and I truly enjoyed it. It's not necessarily in my top 25 films but it was worth the purchase (even if you just choose to rent it). The story was a fresh take on the fairy tale, CGI & special effects were well done, and I find myself unable to truly say anything negative about ANY of the actors. Clearly certain characters were more memorable, but I think much of the criticism directed towards one of the actresses (you know who), was clearly unwarrented. I agree with many other of the reviewers that her character was shallow/not very well explored, but I think that was due to writing and that the actress who played her did a believable and well done job based on what she was given by the writers and directors. Remember who is responsible to define a character and write her dialogue.... and set an actor/actress up to truly shine... The writers and directors.
  • what a disappointment

Kristen Stewart should NOT have been given this role. Her acting was awful to say the least. I really see now what people mean when they say she has zero expressions. On the other hand, go Charlize! What a talent, you never disappoint. No matter what role you take on, you do an incredible job.
