Safety Not Guaranteed

There’s some pathos here, a lot of humor and legitimate heart. And there’s some great twists. It’s a joy to watch.

The movie banks on its actors to do all the heavy lifting, since director is mostly calling it in and the script doesn't really have a point. There's some flimsy thematic thread that brings all the plot lines together, but it doesn’t resolve any of them, nor does it take them to any type of climax. Stunned by all the gushing reviews. Maybe it's an age thing...

This movie is wonderful. 90% of people of love this movie.

I love this movie! It does have some cuss words but not many. I do not see why it is rated R. You HAVE to watch this movie!!

It was light hearted with a great soundtrack. Fun and different. I highly recommend!

1/10 It seems the director of Jurassic World has made yet another terrible movie that suffers from it’s own sentimentality. Listen, if I loved this movie as much as the tomato meter says I should (a ridiculous 90%, are these critics out of there minds????) then I would be the first one to tell you guys. But no, I didn’t love it, in fact, I hated every minute of watching it. Lets just face it, as much as you say you like Mark Duplass in this movie, there is something deep inside you that secretly hates him. Trust me, it’s okay, we all have it. Also Aubry Plaza, I mean, I used to love her Parks & Recreation but Aubry, listen, your getting typecast as the sarcastic girl. Do you want to always be the sarcastic girl in movies???? I know your a better actress then this garbage. Also, the music. Oh gooooodddd….the freaking music!!!!! If I want to hear garbage indie music for an hour and a half I would look up garbage indie music and listen to it for an hour and a half, I don’t need a movie for that!!!! Okay, Im done ranting. I need a glass of water, I’v been getting panic attacks lately, thinking about how I wasted my time on this garbage. Life is short people. Don’t watch this movie.

This film has such a complex story line yet somehow remains so sweet and simple.

I love anything time travel so when I rented this on iTunes for that reason I was expecting a movie on TIME TRAVEL. The time travel part is about .05% of the movie and the rest is about the characters, which aren't that interesting. It might of been better if the lead lady could of actually ACTED, but she was horrible. She had one "emotion" setting and used it for everything and that was boring. Also didn't like the seemingly pointless other garbage going on, mostly immature writing. Some good points but not enough. I give it 3 stars for the ending alone, the rest is 2 stars.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy about this movie. I bought it so I can watch it over and over. Just a really excellent story. A little quirky so it won’t be for everyone, but I highly recommend it.
