It was great to spend a few hours going back in time—reliving some of my earliest memories as a kid who finally was able to discover something that he was passionate about. Now that my boys are getting older, I feel a pull to introduce them to the sport that I loved. Even dragged out the old skate from the top shelf of the garage yesterday to show them (a Per Welinder, no less). A sincere thanks to Stacy and the BB crew for coming together and sharing your memories.

I wasn't alive back in the 80s, but I love the bones brigade videos. My favorite video would have to be The Search for Animal Chin. My favorite members of the bones Brigade are Tony Hawk and Rodney Mullen. This documentary is sick!

Stacy Peralta is an amazing person and this is a great story. Anyone would be interested in this type of story whether you're a fan of skating or not. This is a story about a bunch of non-heroes who become the most famous skaters in the world through hard work and being original. I love how the interviews are shot, the skate shop set and the camera work, too. So well done!

I have this 5 stars because the show was everything I expected and then some. I love how these member represent skateboarding. Can't stand a lot of today's skater punks. Keep it a clean sport!

Not just another skate vid, with some rare footage put together from their parents old haggard relic of a shoulder cam! Was super well done , and the story of skateboarding can't be told better by anyone else. Not to mention the sport would not be the same today without these dudes. I mean it's the "bones brigade" formed by Stacy perlata of the zboys. That's OG if you ask me. Also rad footage of del mar,if u grew up in the n. County sd area.

Stacy did a great job with this one. It shows stories of the skaters who revolutionized and made what skateboarding is today. Even if you don't like skating, and need heard of these skaters, it's still an amazing movie to watch.

This film is awesome - gripping, exciting, cool. If you've seen some of the Dog Town and Z-Boys stuff you know how compelling Stacy Peralta is. That guy could write a book on how to win friends and influence people. Anyway, this film is about the Bones Brigade, the skate crew that began back in the 80's under his wing. The footage is amazing, the story unfolds in an interesting way, the guys are funny and of course the skating - THE SKATING is sick. Highly recommend.

this movie brought back a ton of memories. while i personally was never a huge bones brigade or powel fan back then it was a great documentary on the sentiment and the freedom of skating of the time... it is very interesting to see where a lot of it began... i remember building a 1/4 pipe and a crude halfpipe all in the frail attempt to emulate what i read about and saw in the magazines back then.. if you were even remotely skating in the 80's do not hesitate enjoying this flashback... then go buy your kids a deck slap some trucks and wheels on and go practice in the driveway with them... just bought myself a realdeck TG and loving it!

This documentary is awesome. Stacy did a great job with this movie. Takes me back to the old days. Love seeing old footage. I have already watched many times, love it. Highly recommend! And someone in a previous post, calling Lance a total douche is right, but I think Lance Mountain knows he is a douche. We all are. Also people need to download Tommy Guerrero’s music. Thank you Stacy and Bones Brigade for everything!

Really not what I was expecting. Lance Mountain comes off as a total douche and the rest of the gang are a bunch of cry baby's. "waaahaa we got paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to ride skateboards and be pussies." Some decent historical footage though.
