  • A Documentary almost as bad as the music; if that's what you call it...

This tale sums it up, bits and bytes do not music make.
  • I so wish I understood Dutch

It amazes me how humble Armin Van Buuren remains after all his success, on twitter you can see the level of maturity and just how much he loves his fans and music compared to other DJ's who are nowhere near his level. I can watch this documentary over and over, and i am happy to say i have seen him live three times. I know for a fact people will not forgot him in the future and i will continue to scream his name for years on end because nothing compares to his music.

The portayal of Armin in this documentary speaks to the humble man behind the turntables. He consistently expresses his passion for the electronic dance music scene throughout the film, but his past seems to haunt him bringing question to his current path in life after originally receiving a degree in law. What would my life be like if I lived a normal life? This question in itself is asked throughout the film and gives you insight into a man that turned trance music into what we know it today.... This is a beautiful documentary that gives you, the original fan or the curious new arrival to this underground scene that has immersed the eyes into a world that few of us have dreamed of viewing.
  • He seems like a nice guy, Armin.

I don't think there is really any substance at all in this documentary. Armin seems like a nice guy, but you don't really learn anything too much about him. Very dissatisfying documentary and a waste of time.
  • Mandatory viewing if you're a fan of trance music; not just AvB.

I've been listening to electronic music now, specifically trance since the early 2000's, but to be honest, been all but ignorant of this mastermind until only very recently. To be honest it's all I really listen to at this point, it has an effect that can't be duplicated by other genres of music. Watching this documentary has established a newfound respect for the wizardry thats manifest within sound when he creates music, and I'm sure it will stir the same emotions within you when you watch. God bless Armin; never stop practicing and perfecting your craft.

Your an inspiration. I have been listening to your music since 2003. I think when it comes to Trance, you are a legend. I'd like to thank you and others who started this Trance era, which have inspired a new generation of young people who love this music as passionate as ours. I think the title of number one DJ is not enough, considering the actual production of Trance music. Hence, the title should be "# 1 Producer & DJ In The World". Again, thank you and others in the Trance family! Yo have inspired me, and I hope I can one day produce and DJ in front of the masses as well.
